Oct 14, 2013 (Mon): Unauthorized redirections of Google.com.my and Google.my to another IP address happened last week and the issue had been resolved within a few hours of its discovery. According to MYNIC, the redirection was perpetrated by a group which called themselves as TeaM MADLEETS through one of its reseller’s account.
The CEO of MYNIC, Hasnul Fadhly Hasan said that they can assure there is no customer’s content, password information and other personal information affected by the redirect. He added that MYNIC will immediately improve resellers’ security on account management to avoid the same incident happened again.
