Terry KS Forester Research reports that the number of NFC-enabled mobile devices will be around 100 million to be shipped worldwide. This number show the potential of using NFC as one tools of e-payment in encouraging cashless transaction in the society.
NFC or Near Field Communication is a set of standards for smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication with each other by touching them together or bringing them into close proximity, usually no more than a few centimeters, according to Wikipedia.
