Borneo Post Online reported that Intel Malaysia has urged the Malaysia government to allocate more funds and incentives for organizations that introduce and implement community service and programmes that can help improve digital literacy, such as expand broadband penetration and e-learning programs.
Intel country manager, sales and marketing, Prakash Mallya believed that the strategy of one device per child policy in schools is the best strategy to ensure the effectiveness of learning among the students. “We hope the government able to continue their commitment to support training in ICT-enabled education programs and the growth of data centres in the country, with more allocations in the Budget 2013,” Mallya said.
