Aug 27, 2013 (Tue): In response to the issue of customers’ complaint on online shopping, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has established a portal to list down trust-worthy as well as blacklisted e-commerce sites as consumers’ reference.
According to MoIT, all e-commerce websites in the country must register with them and are required to meet standard set. MoIT urged the public should only buy from the websites that labelled with SafeWeb, a standard system in e-commerce transaction in Vietnam and read carefully any information published on the website such as product information, shipping policy and return policy, Vietnam News reported.
