According to the leading international multi-channel brand store Debenhams, one-third of its online website traffic was generated by mobile shoppers and this group of users are more lucrative and will spend three times higher than its in-store customers. However, the mobile shoppers are more likely to change brand after went through bad experience.
Debenhams suggested that the retailers should not concern about the conversion rates on mobile due to Debenhams’ statistic shows only 6 per cent of its sales are influenced by mobile but the conversion is forecasted to reach 25 per cent by 2016.
Debenhams operates 240 brick-and-mortar stores across 28 countries and available online in 70 countries including Singapore, the only country in Southeast offered delivery by Debenhams online store operated in UK.
