McDonald’s Malaysia has once again been honoured at the 2025 Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards, securing two prestigious accolades for its ongoing commitment to community welfare. This marks its eighth consecutive win, highlighting its long-standing dedication to corporate social responsibility.
MALAYSIA, 23 JULY 2025 – McDonald’s Malaysia continues to cement its role as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) leader by winning two major accolades at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2025 — the Corporate Compassion Excellence Award and the Long-Standing Excellence Award, the latter for the second year in a row. This marks the company’s eighth consecutive year of being recognised at the prestigious national platform.
Now in its 10th year, the 2025 awards carried the theme “Beyond Profits, Making Our World a Better Place,” a message that aligns closely with McDonald’s Malaysia’s purpose of feeding and fostering communities. Since its establishment in the country over four decades ago, the company has embedded community support at the core of its operations.
McDonald’s Malaysia’s impact is driven by its long-running Program Komuniti @ McDonald’s, which delivers over 10,000 initiatives annually to support Malaysians from all walks of life. These include aid programs for children, education support, food distribution, festive donations, and assistance for frontline workers. The initiatives reflect the company’s consistent efforts to uplift communities and contribute to national welfare.
The awards were presented in the presence of YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, who officiated the ceremony.
