McDonald’s Malaysia welcomes back its iconic Prosperity Burger, a beloved tradition since 1994, celebrating moments of joy, family, and community. This year, the campaign “Prosperity Kembali, Lebih Bererti” pairs the return of the black pepper burger with a charitable initiative supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia.
MALAYSIA, 25 NOVEMBER 2025 – The Prosperity Burger is back, inviting Malaysians to celebrate warmth, joy, and togetherness. McDonald’s Malaysia’s annual tradition reminds us that prosperity isn’t measured by what we have, but by who we have—family, friends, colleagues, and communities who bring support, laughter, and love into our lives.
First introduced in 1994, the Prosperity Burger, with its signature black pepper sauce, has become one of McDonald’s most iconic creations. Over the years, it has brought families and friends together, creating cherished moments of shared happiness.
This year, McDonald’s Malaysia launches the campaign “Prosperity Kembali, Lebih Bererti”, celebrating not just the return of the beloved burger, but also the spirit of giving. From 20 November to 31 December 2025, McDonald’s Malaysia will donate RM0.20 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Malaysia for every Prosperity Burger meal purchased. Contributions will support RMHC programmes including:
- Ronald McDonald House – providing accommodation for families of paediatric patients
- Gift of Smile – cleft lip and palate surgeries
- Back-to-School – school essentials for underprivileged children
- Sensory Rooms – therapy spaces for children with special needs
Melati Abdul Hai, Senior Vice President and Chief Impact Officer of McDonald’s Malaysia, said, “The Prosperity Burger is more than just a meal—it’s a symbol of hope, togetherness, and shared memories. This year, we’re proud to link this beloved tradition with RMHC to help children in need across Malaysia.”

The campaign kicked off at Kuala Lumpur Tower, where children from the Ronald McDonald House at Hospital Tunku Azizah and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM enjoyed a memorable experience at the landmark, marking the start of a season of joy and generosity.
As the Prosperity Burger, Curly Fries, and McFizz return to McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, Malaysians are invited to share more than a meal—sharing gratitude, kindness, and moments of togetherness, because true prosperity is best enjoyed with others.
