Terry KS Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has appointed John Chong as deputy CEO of Maybank Investment Bank Bhd and Mohd Suhail Amar Suresh Abdullah as executive vice-president and head of virtual banking and payments of Maybank, the Sun Daily reported.
Chong was the head of investment banking and advisory for Malaysia operations of Maybank while Suhail was the managing director of Malaysian Electronic Clearing Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyClear) prior joining Maybank.
