Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) yesterday launched Maybank2u Pay, a payment facility designed for small or home businesses such as blogshop owners conducting online transactions. Maybank2u Pay offers easy reconciliation of sales transactions by giving the transactions details such as transaction date, time, status, description and amount.
As reported by Bernama new agency, Maybank expects the new facility able to attract about five per cent of the 3,000 local blogshop community that can generate 180,000 transactions valued at an estimated RM5 million this year. Maybank has registered 20 local blogshop prior the launch of Maybank2u Pay.
In conjunction with the launch, any blogshop owners sign up Maybank2u Pay before May 31, 2013 will entitle cash rebates as well as to be featured for free in Maybank’s website.
