Terry KS Oct 11, 2013 (Fri): MasterCard yesterday announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Provus Bilişim Hizmetleri A. S. (“Provus”), a leading independent payment solution and processing provider in Turkey. MasterCard did not disclose the deal terms and the transaction is subject to regulatory approval which is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of 2013.
The acquisition of Provus will enable MasterCard to continue developing innovative solutions to add value to customers, and increases MasterCard processing presence in Europe.
