Malaysia’s Mobile Payment Company Shortlisted in AICTA 2013

Aug 27, 2013 (Tue): The mobile payments technology firm Soft Space Sdn Bhd is the only Malaysia-based company has been shortlisted as a finalist under the Star-Up category in the Asean ICT Awards (AICTA) 2013, The Star reported.

AICTA is a project approved by the ASEAN Telecommunication Ministers. It wishes to recognize the best ICT achievement among entrepreneurs across the ASEAN region and aims to be the benchmark for success in terms of innovation and creativity, offering business opportunities and promote trade relations thus uplift the strength of ICT and community awareness in ASEAN both locally and international region.

There are 5 categories for the competition and the final judging session will be conducted on September 3, 2013 in Myanmar, followed by AICTA Presentation Ceremony to be held in November this year in Singapore.
