Lotus’s and PayNet Celebrate Over RM470,000 in Prizes as MyDebit Syiokkk Raya Contest Wraps Up

Lotus’s Malaysia and PayNet concluded the MyDebit Syiokkk Raya contest with over 2,600 winners and RM470,000 worth of prizes, including two Proton S70 Premium cars. The campaign successfully boosted cashless adoption, with digital payments surpassing 60% across Lotus’s stores.


MALAYSIA, 4 JULY 2025 – Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Lotus’s Malaysia) and Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) have successfully concluded their festive MyDebit Syiokkk Raya contest, rewarding thousands of shoppers and advancing Malaysia’s digital payment transformation.

Held from 13 February to 30 April 2025, the nationwide contest formed a central part of Lotus’s ‘Senyuman Paling Bernilai’ Ramadan-Raya campaign, designed to incentivise cashless spending during the festive season.

Among the highlights were two proud grand prize winners: Maizatul Akma Mazlan and Kwong Joon @ Kong Joon, the latter a devoted My Lotus’s member with a staggering 324 shopping visits over the campaign period. Both drove away in brand-new Proton S70 Premium cars worth up to RM80,000 each.

The contest saw a strong response, with over 26,500 qualifying transactions and 2,622 winners nationwide. To participate, customers simply spent RM100 or more using MyDebit at any Lotus’s store to stand a chance to win:

  • Grand Prizes: 2 units of Proton S70 Premium
  • Monthly Prizes: RM500 Duit Raya for 120 winners
  • Weekly Prizes: RM100 Lotus’s e-vouchers for 2,500 winners

“It’s amazing to see how a collaboration like the MyDebit Syiokkk Raya contest has brought festive cheer and helped drive our overall cashless payments among our customers to over 60%,” said Nuathip Pituckpongsatorn, Customer and Marketing Executive Director at Lotus’s Malaysia.

She also highlighted the integration of DuitNow QR since November 2024, which has further strengthened the digital payment infrastructure across Lotus’s outlets.

Azrul Fakhzan Mainor, Senior Director of Commercial at PayNet, expressed pride in the ongoing partnership. “This is our seventh campaign with Lotus’s since 2022, which has contributed over 30% in cash conversion in just three years,” he noted. “We are committed to expanding digital channels, enhancing convenience, and creating long-term behavioural shifts toward cashless transactions.”

PayNet also reaffirmed its strategic partnership with Lotus’s Malaysia through 2026, with plans to accelerate digital payment adoption through MyDebit and DuitNow QR, further advancing the vision of a safer, faster, and more inclusive digital economy for all Malaysians.
