LintraMax Unveils AI-Powered Upgrades to Quarto, Transforming Plantation Management in Southeast Asia

LintraMax introduces advanced AI tools and IoT integration in its Quarto cloud platform to enhance operational intelligence, productivity, and decision-making for oil palm plantations. The updates include an AI Assistant, FFB recognition, and real-time mill monitoring to optimize plantation operations.

MALAYSIA, 7 NOVEMBER 2025 – LintraMax (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading Malaysian technology company specializing in plantation management solutions, has announced significant upgrades to its flagship cloud platform, Quarto. The latest version incorporates a suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools aimed at improving productivity, decision-making, and operational intelligence for oil palm plantations and mill operators.

A standout addition is the AI Assistant, powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), which allows users to query operational data in plain language. Plantation managers can interact with the system to obtain instant, data-backed insights on crop yield, production costs, and other key metrics, complete with charts and reports. The AI Assistant also generates Executive Insights reports to help identify operational patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities across plantation operations.

In the field, Quarto introduces FFB recognition, which uses mobile phone cameras to automatically count harvested Fresh Fruit Bunches. Future updates will include FFB crop quality assessment, critical for optimizing oil yield and profitability.

Complementing these AI capabilities, Quarto integrates Internet of Things (IoT) sensors at palm oil mills to enable 24-hour monitoring of machinery. The system automatically alerts engineers to irregular performance, reducing manual inspection needs while enhancing operational safety and efficiency.

“Our goal is to make technology serve the plantation industry, not the other way around,” said Khor Kheng Khoon, Founder of LintraMax. “With these new features, Quarto moves beyond digitalization to true operational intelligence, helping users make better, faster, and more confident decisions that directly impact productivity and sustainability.”

Launched in 2016, Quarto is a leading cloud plantation management system in Southeast Asia, currently deployed in plantations across Malaysia and Indonesia. LintraMax will showcase the latest Quarto platform at PIPOC 2025, held from 18 to 20 November at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Hall 5.

Headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, with a software development center in Penang, LintraMax is a two-time Enterprise 50 Award winner and a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner, continuing to lead innovation in digital agriculture solutions.
