Terry KS Indonesia (July 23, 2013): PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE), a logistic company that offers express courier and cargo customs clearance and distribution into Indonesia, is expanding into e-commerce by establishing online food service namely Pesona (or Pesanan Oleh-oleh Nusantara) which will be launched within one to two months, the Jakarta Post reported.
Pesona will focus on local food dishes directly sent from their place of origin, such as empek-empek (fish cake in vinegar sauce) from Palembang, South Sumatra, roti unyil (assorted small bread) from Bogor, West Java, and bika ambon (coconut based cake) from Medan, North Sumatra.
