Introduction of 4G services will strengthen mobile shopping

May 2, 2013: According to the eCustomerServiceIndex (eCSI) survey which was conducted among 2,000 online shoppers between 5th and 9th April 2013, 39 per cent of smartphone owners have already used their mobile device to make a purchase. The survey forecasted that this number is likely to be increased after the introduction of more 4G networks and locations later in the UK.

The survey also revealed that 77 per cent of 4G users have accessed the internet from their 4G enabled device whilst out shopping, higher than 3G users, only 53 per cent have done the same.
