Internet Banking Penetrates To Almost Half of Malaysia Population

Oct 3, 2013 (Thu): According to Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Ahmad Maslan, there was a total of 14.6 million internet banking subscribers, comprising 14.3 million individuals and 300,000 in the corporate sector as at June 2013, Sun Daily reported. However, the number of mobile banking subscribers only had 3.25 million users which accounted for 10.9 per cent of the population and 7.6 per cent of all mobile subscribers.
