A ‘Survival of ICT Retailers’ forum was held last week to find the solution for the challenges faced by ICT retailers such as decrease of retail prices and profit margins, increase of overhead costs including rental costs and unrealistic stock commitments set by the suppliers. This serious issue may challenge the survival of the ICT retailers in the country.
Over 140 ICT retailers attended the forum and majority of them support to form a new body to help the ICT retailers in the country despite representative from the National ICT Association of Malaysia, PIKOM committed to table the issue in its coming council meeting.
