Singapore’s ilovebooks.com owned by the leading media company MediaCorp, managed to grow its number of Facebook fans about 800 per cent in four weeks, thanks to the recent successful story writing campaign organized by ilovebooks.com.
The Vice President (e-commerce), Interactive Media Division of Media Corp, Ethel Tan said that the traction gained was due largely to the highly-viral nature of social media sharing and organic conversations sparked on Facebook. This has proved that the power of a socially-engaging contest, she added.
Ilovebooks.com is an e-bookstore that allows book lovers to buy their favourite e-books and read them anywhere at anytime on their mobile devices.
