The initiative offers RM100 million in financing to help Malaysians access funds securely while protecting their loved ones from loan burdens.

MALAYSIA, 15 AUGUST 2025 – IBPO Group Berhad (IBPO), a leading fintech company, has announced a strategic partnership with FWD Insurance Berhad (FWD Insurance) to embed complimentary life protection into its financing programs, ensuring customers’ loans are safeguarded against unforeseen circumstances.

The partnership was formalized at a Strategic Partnership Launch Ceremony officiated by Andy Lim, Founder and Group Managing Director of IBPO, and Mak See Sen, Chief Executive Officer of FWD Insurance, with Samuel Quek, Chief Technology Officer of IBPO, and Ann Lim, Chief Digital, Direct and Telemarketing of FWD Insurance as witnesses.

Under this collaboration, IBPO’s new Payday Financing and i-Bridge Financing facilities will include life insurance coverage from FWD Insurance without underwriting requirements. Payday Financing provides interest-free cash advances for urgent needs, while i-Bridge Financing offers short-term Shariah-compliant funding for homeowners, property sellers, and SMEs awaiting long-term bank financing.

A total financing fund of RM100 million has been allocated to support customers’ emergency, business, and property financing needs, ensuring their obligations are protected in the event of death or disability. Customers can apply via IBPO’s myIBPO+ online portal or its upcoming all-in-one financial app, both available 24/7.

This initiative aligns with Bank Negara Malaysia’s Financial Sector Blueprint 2022–2026, promoting digitalization, financial inclusion, and consumer protection. Beginning September 2025, customers will also be able to explore additional individual insurance plans on IBPO’s website, with premiums starting from RM8.10 per month and coverage up to RM500,000.

The partnership reinforces IBPO’s Fusion Finance model, which integrates AI-powered technology with traditional finance to enhance accessibility, security, and financial literacy for Malaysians.
