U.S. (Jul 10, 2013): IBM on Monday announced that it has completed the acquisition of SoftLayer Technologies Inc., a US-based privately held cloud computing infrastructure company. IBM will combine SoftLayer with IBM SmartCloud into a global platform.
The joining of SoftLayer is part of IBM’s strategic cloud acquisitions to grow its cloud Revenue. IBM expects to reach US$7 billion (RM22.3 billion) annually in cloud revenue by the end of 2015.
