Sept 4, 2013 (Wed): IBM announced that the company has acquired Trusteer, a privately held leading provider of software that helps protect organizations against fraud and advanced security threats, without disclosing the terms of the deal.
After the acquisition, Trusteer is able to extend IBM data security capabilities further into the cloud, mobile and endpoint security space as well as helps them to provide clients with comprehensive network and endpoint anti-malware solutions.
