Sept 26, 2013 (Thu): Maxis Berhad (Maxis) has unveiled its #Hotlink plan, the first and only prepaid plan of its kind in Malaysia that offers customers continuous free basic internet. Customers can buy #Hotlink plan at RM8.80 with RM5 preloaded airtime.
As long as the prepaid plan remains active, customers can enjoy unlimited basic internet at 64Kbps such as accessing Whatsapp, Line, WeChat, Facebook, Twitter as well as non-data intensive websites. #Hotlink users also can opt for high speed internet for RM1 per day (1GB per month for RM30) and make calls at 12 sen per 30 seconds and send each SMS at 7 sen. They will also enjoy up to 8 per cent free airtime once every 2 months based on their cumulative top-up amounts.
