Google calling university students to join Google Summer of Code program

Google Inc, via its blog, is encouraging university student with CS chops to join the Google Summer of Code program, which giving an opportunity for them to apply their skills learned in university on Google’s open source projects. Under the program, students are paired with mentors to help address technical questions and concerns throughout the course of the project. Over the past eight years more than 6,000 students have learned hands-on experience and strengthen their future employment opportunities from this global program.
