Terry KS Thu, Jun 13, 2013: Google Inc has announced that they have closed the acquisition of Waze. The acquisition will help Google to enhance Google Maps with some of the traffic update features provided by Waze and enhancing Waze with Google’s search capabilities.
According to Google, the Waze product development team will remain in Israel and operate separately.
