JOHOR BAHRU: Google Malaysia has launched Get Malaysian Business Online (GMBO) programme last November to help Malaysian small and medium size enterprises (SME) to utilize the Internet as a marketing platform to promote their business.
Up to date, more than 23,000 SMEs have signed up GMBO and Google Malaysia is expecting to have 50,000 SMEs by end of this year, said by Google Malaysia communication head Zeffri Yusof.
The programme is free for first 10,000 participants and only charges RM23 for participants thereafter. When the SMEs join this programme, they will get easy to update, customized website, .com.my web address, on-going tips and education and AdWords RM200 trial with expert phone support.
GMBO is a programme co-organized by Google Malaysia, Malaysian Communication And Multimedia Commission, MYNIC Berhad and iTrain. For more info of the programme, you can visit www.getMybusinessonline.com.my.
