The world’s leading information technology research and advisory company Gartner, Inc. forecasted worldwide mobile advertising revenue will reach US$11.4 billion (RM34.4 billion) this year, from US$9.6 billion (RM28.9 billion) in 2012 while the revenue will reach US24.5 billion (RM73.8 billion) by 2016. Gartner believed the growth of mobile advertising revenue will more opportunities for app developers, ad networks, mobile platform providers, specialty agencies and even communications service providers.
