Exabytes and MYNIC celebrated the success of their nationwide digitalisation campaign by awarding a brand-new Tesla Model 3 to Myoutdoor.com’s founder. The initiative, which drew over 11,000 participants, underscores the rising momentum of digital transformation among Malaysian SMEs.
MALAYSIA, 18 APRIL 2025 – In a landmark celebration of Malaysia’s digital future, Exabytes, a leading Southeast Asian provider of AI, Business Apps, Cloud, Digital, and Ecommerce solutions, with the support of MYNIC Berhad, successfully concluded its high-impact SME digitalisation campaign by awarding a Tesla Model 3 to one lucky business owner.
The grand finale, hosted at the Tesla Experience Centre in Cyberjaya, brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and digital advocates. The event was officiated by Chan Kee Siak, Founder and CEO of Exabytes, alongside En. Hafiz Shahrel Hanafiah, Senior Vice President of Operations at MYNIC, highlighting the campaign’s success and its broader mission of empowering SMEs.
The campaign’s ultimate reward went to Zaidi Parmoto, Founder of Myoutdoor.com Sdn. Bhd., who took home the Tesla Model 3. Overwhelmed by the win, Zaidi shared, “This initiative reminded me of how vital a strong online presence is. Running from April to December 2024, the campaign aimed to help Malaysian SMEs build robust digital foundations through domain registration, hosting, and digital tools. Eligible participants entered the grand prize draw by subscribing to a five-year MYNIC domain with Exabytes, with additional entries earned through service upgrades and solution purchases.
The response was overwhelming, with 11,258 businesses participating—demonstrating an urgent shift among SMEs towards digital readiness. In 2024, Exabytes saw a 44.91% increase in new SME domain registrations and was named MYNIC’s Most Improved Domestic Registrar with 88.57% growth, cementing its role as a key enabler of Malaysia’s digital economy.
