Terry KS Epson has introduced its latest signage printers, the SureColor S9130 and S8130, built to deliver exceptional print quality, productivity, and efficiency for businesses. Both models feature expanded colour capabilities, upgraded print heads, and cloud-based fleet management.
MALAYSIA, 4 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Epson, a global leader in professional printing solutions, has announced the launch of two new signage printers, the SureColor S9130 and SureColor S8130. Designed for high-performance business applications, these models combine cutting-edge print head technology, enhanced media handling, and expanded colour options to set a new benchmark in professional signage production.
The SC-S9130 is targeted at premium applications such as luxury brand displays, vehicle wraps, fine art, and high-end banners, offering superior colour accuracy and exceptional image quality. Meanwhile, the SC-S8130 is optimised for businesses prioritising high-volume productivity and consistent solid-colour output, making it ideal for routine signage and graphics production.
Both models feature Epson’s UltraChrome GS3 eco-solvent inks, which are Greenguard Gold Certified for low emissions and user safety. The SC-S9130 includes an 11-colour ink set with a newly introduced Green ink, while the SC-S8130 employs a 6-colour set including Light Cyan and Light Magenta. The Hot Swap function allows ink replacement without interrupting production.
Equipped with upgraded MicroTFP print heads containing 9,600 nozzles, the SC-S9130 achieves a 5% speed improvement over its predecessor, while the SC-S8130 offers a significant 28% boost in print speed. The SC-S9130 also integrates dual rows of white ink nozzles for higher opacity and a faster warm-up time of just 2.9 minutes. Epson’s Nozzle Verification Technology ensures consistent quality by automatically compensating for clogged nozzles, while the new “Text Sharpness” mode in Epson Edge Print PRO software enhances text clarity.
User-focused design features include a tiltable, glove-friendly 4.3-inch touch display and a media lifter for heavy rolls, improving safety and operational ease. With a compact 64-inch design and flat top surface, both printers are optimised for space-limited environments.
The printers also support Epson’s Cloud Solution PORT, providing real-time monitoring, cost reporting, and remote fleet management via PC, tablet, or smartphone.
