Epson has introduced the WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500, its first A3 mono mid-range printer delivering 55ppm speed, advanced scanning, and eco-conscious features. The model is designed to boost productivity while reducing energy consumption and operational costs for space-limited offices.
MALAYSIA, 29 AUGUST 2025 – Epson, a global leader in professional printing, has announced the launch of the WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500, its first-ever A3 mono mid-range model in the WorkForce Enterprise Series. With a print speed of 55 pages per minute (ppm) and enhanced scanning capabilities, the AM-M5500 meets growing demand for high-speed, high-volume mono printing in the 31–60ppm segment.
Ideal for organizations with heavy document workloads, the compact AM-M5500 also features fast scanning at 70 images per minute (ipm) for simplex and 140 ipm for duplex, plus optional Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for creating searchable and editable documents. Its user-friendly design includes a large 10.1” tiltable LCD touch panel and scalable hardware options such as dual cassette trays, high-capacity paper storage, and space-saving finishing solutions.
Powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, the AM-M5500 reduces energy consumption by up to 85% compared to traditional laser printers, cutting both electricity costs and CO₂ emissions. Built with 30% recycled plastic and packaged in 80% recycled materials, it requires fewer replacement parts, minimizing waste. Additional eco-conscious tools include power consumption monitoring and a duplex printing indicator to encourage paper-saving practices.
