MALAYSIA, 2 APRIL 2025 – EPG, a leading innovator in data center solutions, officially broke ground on its second manufacturing facility in Malaysia, marking a significant step in the company’s Southeast Asian expansion. CEO and Chairman Alick Wan announced the project, underscoring Malaysia’s pivotal role in EPG’s global strategy.
The groundbreaking ceremony drew prominent figures, including Yang Berhormat Lee Ting Han, Chairman of the Johor State Investment, Trade, and Consumer Affairs Committee; Yang Berhormat Dato’ Haji Ir Hasni Bin Mohammad, Johor State Economic and Investment Advisor; Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia; and representatives from various business and academic institutions.
EPG, recognized for its expertise in diesel generator sets and modular data center products, aims to set new industry standards and contribute to the digital economy. YB Lee Ting Han praised EPG’s contributions to regional economic growth and talent development, while Dato’ Haji Ir Hasni Bin Mohammad highlighted the project’s role in optimizing Johor’s industrial structure. Teo Nie Ching emphasized the project’s potential to inject innovation into Southeast Asia’s industrial chains.
Alick Wan stated that the new facility will serve as an intelligent manufacturing hub, improving EPG’s production capacity and supply efficiency across Southeast Asia. The company also announced a donation to support local talent development initiatives, further solidifying its commitment to the region.
