Terry KS Wed, Jun 26, 2013: Society6.com, an e-commerce platform helping artists to sell their artwork such as art prints, iPhone cases and t-shirts, had been acquired by Demand Media for US$94 million (RM299.3 million) in cash and stock, the Star reported.
The acquisition over Society6 marks Demand’s first real foray into e-commerce. Demand also owns content websites such as eHow, Livestrong and Cracked.
