VIETNAM, 31 DECEMBER 2025 – eBay, one of the world’s largest online marketplaces serving 134 million buyers across more than 190 markets, recently hosted its annual Exporter of the Year 2025 event in Hanoi, Vietnam. Held over two days in December, the event recognized outstanding sellers from emerging markets who are driving global trade, innovation, and sustainable commerce through cross-border e-commerce.

The event brought together more than 200 top-performing sellers from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, providing a global platform for connection, knowledge sharing, and recognition. During the awards ceremony, 22 sellers were honored for their strong growth performance and consistent delivery of trusted, world-class buyer experiences. These winners demonstrated effective use of eBay’s ecosystem, including marketplace access, logistics solutions, advertising tools, and seller technologies, to navigate global uncertainty and succeed in international trade.

Southeast Asia emerged as a key contributor within eBay’s global emerging markets community. Yuumi Ngui from Singapore and Johanthan Indra from Indonesia were also named runners-up in the Collectibles Excellence category.

Beyond the awards, the Hanoi edition focused on equipping sellers with insights, tools, and resources to support future growth. The programme featured keynote sessions from global eBay leaders, a 2026 global market outlook, category-specific workshops on Parts and Accessories and alternative inventory models, as well as sessions on managed shipping and advertising strategies. Sellers also participated in interactive eBay Live experiences and one-to-one consultations with eBay experts.

The event underscored eBay’s continued commitment to empowering sellers of all sizes to access global markets, build trusted buyer relationships, and pursue sustainable, long-term growth through cross-border and circular commerce.
