US: eBay Inc, one of the largest Internet companies has outlined its three-year growth strategies to lead and innovate in this technology-driven, more connected new commerce environment and to drive strong continued growth in its core marketplaces, PayPal and GSI Commerce businesses. At the same time, the company is focused on leveraging its global mobile commerce leadership and other commerce technologies to enable new experiences for consumers and retailers.
Through the strategy, eBay expects to enable RM928.16 billion (US$300 billion) of global commerce in 2015, from RM541.41 billion (US$175 billion) in 2012 and to grow over 50 per cent in its revenues to at least RM66.52 billion (US$21.5 billion) in 2015 from RM43.62 billion (US$14.1 billion) in 2012.
