MALAYSIA: Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, the Information Communication and Culture Minister has urged the public not to spread lies or spiteful matters over the internet, especially those related with the coming general election in the country, reports Bernama news agency. According to Rais, the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), police and Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) are monitoring it closely and will take necessary action to curb the situation.
