Blancco, a global data erasure and computer reuse solutions provider has extended its global foot print into Southeast Asia (SEA) by opening its first office in SEA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The managing director for Blancco SEA, Alan Puah said that the demand as well as awareness for secure data erasure is increasing in SEA especially after Personal Data Protection Act was passed in Malaysia and Singapore to regulate the collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal data and to impose obligations on how businesses manage that data, how long they keep it and how they dispose of it.
Blancco has released its white paper to highlight the importance of data erasure for businesses and corporation which can be downloaded here.
