Thu, May 23, 2013: CyberSecurity Malaysia, a government agency under Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) commented that there are only 3,045 certified cyber security specialists in Malaysia, a ratio of 1 to 9,600 to the population, the Bernama reported.
The agency believes there is a room for improvement in the cyber security industry. As part of its effort to grow the industry, the agency recently has signed a memorandum of agreement with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to launch the first Masters programmes in Cyber Security in the country.
