Cybercrime Victims Down but Average Cost Per Victim Up

Oct 4, 2013 (Fri): According to the 2013 Norton Report released by the security expert Symantec, the number of online adults who have experienced cyber-crime has decreased but the average cost per victim has risen by 50 per cent.

The report also revealed that 48 per cent of smartphone and tablet users do not take even the basic precautions such as using passwords, having security software or backing up files from their mobile devices which will places them and their digital identities at risk.
