The findings from 2012 Norton Cybercrime Report revealed that cyber criminals are increasingly targeting mobile devices now and 21 per cent of the respondents have been a victim of either social or mobile cyber crime.
The Internet safety advocate & director, Asia of Norton by Symantec, Effendy Ibrahim said 18 adults become a victim of cyber crime every second, resulting about 556 million adults across the world experienced cyber crime with losses totaling an average of US$197 per victim in direct financial costs in the past 12 months.
Total 0f 13,000 people across 24 countries participated in the survey conducted by security solution provider Norton by Symantec.
