The co-founder of the leading global payment service PayPal, Greg Anthony Kouri died unexpectedly in New York City last Saturday at age 51, The Miami Herald reports. He succumbed to a heart attack at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and services will be held in Montreal today.
Kouri was born June 15, 1961 in Montreal and lived in Miami beach with his wife, Jean Marie. Kouri was an angel investor in high-tech ventures and he invested in businesses like the Internet company Zip2, PayPal, Tesla Motors and SpaceX.
