Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB) plans to invest approximately RM250 million in capital expenditures over the next five years after partnering with JD Worldwide’s wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing Wodong Tianjun Information Technology Co. Ltd (JD.com) to develop omnichannel business model in Malaysia.
According to CHHB managing director Datuk Jared Lim, the partnership will introduce about 10,000 smart living products, appliances and lifestyle experiences from China to Malaysia. Besides the online platform, the group will open five mega stores as well as small retail footprints nationwide.
