CelcomDigi has signed MoUs with APU, INTI, and MSU to embed 5G, AI, and digital skills into tertiary education, preparing students and professionals for Malaysia’s evolving digital economy. The initiative includes work-based learning, mentorship, and fast-track employment opportunities for high-performing graduates.
MALAYSIA, 14 OCTOBER 2025 – CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), INTI International University & Colleges (INTI), and Management and Science University (MSU) to accelerate the development of future-ready talent in Malaysia.
The partnerships aim to integrate 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital competencies into tertiary education, co-creating learning pathways that enhance graduate employability, nurture future leaders, and support Malaysia’s digital economy aspirations.
Through these collaborations, students will gain real-world exposure via structured work-based learning, leadership development, and mentorship programmes. High-performing graduates will be considered for fast-track employment opportunities at CelcomDigi. Faculty members will work with the company to co-create curricula aligned with market needs, ensuring graduates are workforce-ready.
CelcomDigi employees will also benefit from exclusive study pathways in telco and AI courses, as well as tuition privileges for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional development programmes, which extend to their families.

The MoUs were signed during the launch of CelcomDigi Academy, a dedicated learning space designed to foster continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, complemented by structured online and offline training programmes.

MSU’s Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid noted the programme’s focus on bridging academic learning with professional practice.
