CelcomDigi unveils The MediHub, a 5G-enabled healthcare hub at its headquarters, offering employees virtual medical consultations, mental wellness support, and AI-driven health solutions. The initiative underscores the company’s commitment to holistic employee wellbeing and innovation.

MALAYSIA, 19 DECEMBER 2025 – CelcomDigi Berhad has launched The MediHub, a pioneering 5G-powered healthcare facility designed to provide employees with seamless access to professional healthcare services directly from the workplace. Situated at CelcomDigi Hub, the facility aims to support both physical and mental wellbeing through virtual consultations with licensed medical practitioners, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

The MediHub features two specialized zones: the Care Room and the Mind Room. The Care Room offers virtual medical consultations via MediDoc, a secure telehealth platform, supported by MediKiosk—a smart station that performs vital checks and generates instant health reports to ensure accurate, real-time data for every consultation.

The Mind Room focuses on mental wellness, providing private counselling, stress management sessions, and self-assessment tools such as DASS-21 (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale-21), enabling employees to proactively monitor and improve their emotional wellbeing.

T. Kugan, Chief Innovation Officer of CelcomDigi, highlighted that The MediHub reflects the company’s dedication to integrating 5G connectivity with AI-driven solutions from CelcomDigi’s AI Experience Centre (AiX), enhancing healthcare accessibility and supporting holistic employee wellbeing.

Employee wellbeing remains central to CelcomDigi’s people strategy. In 2024, the company became Malaysia’s first organisation to achieve ISO 45003:2021 certification, demonstrating its commitment to a resilient, people-centred culture that fosters safety and high performance.

Through AiX, CelcomDigi continues to accelerate digital healthcare adoption, combining 5G connectivity with AI to deliver scalable and convenient healthcare solutions. Supported by over 56 local and global partners, AiX encompasses 61 solutions across eight verticals, with 28 use cases already implemented, highlighting practical applications of technology in enhancing employee and enterprise wellbeing.
