Terry KS CelcomDigi Berhad has signed an MoU with Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. to co-develop an AI Strategic Framework aimed at modernising operations, enhancing digital capabilities, and supporting Terengganu’s vision of a resilient, tech-driven economy. The collaboration focuses on advancing digitalisation, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, IoT, and data readiness across Terengganu Inc’s subsidiaries.
MALAYSIA, 28 OCTOBER 2025 – CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Terengganu Incorporated Sdn. Bhd. (Terengganu Inc), establishing a strategic partnership to drive digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI) adoption throughout the group. The collaboration follows a series of strategic workshops between both organisations to identify key areas for digital advancement in support of Terengganu’s long-term economic transformation.
Under this agreement, Terengganu Inc will leverage CelcomDigi’s expertise in digital technologies and AI to accelerate its transformation journey. Based on a comprehensive digital capability assessment conducted across 13 subsidiaries, both organisations will jointly develop a tailored AI Strategic Framework. This framework will serve as a blueprint to strengthen connectivity, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, Internet of Things (IoT), and data readiness — ultimately modernising operations, improving efficiencies, and ensuring the group’s readiness for the digital future.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the State Financial Officer of Terengganu, YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi bin Mohamad Daham, together with members of the State Executive Council, reflecting the state’s strong commitment to digital leadership and innovation.
