Aug 19, 2013 (Mon): According to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), 3.05 million new cards issued in second quarter of 2013 to make the total card issued to reach 60.15 million as of the end of the same quarter, with an increase of 10.8 per cent if compared with the same period last year, Vietnam News reported. Total spending via cards in Q2 has been increased 17 per cent to reach VND27.89 trillion (RM4.34 billion) with 6.57 million transactions.
