Indonesia’s famous e-commerce site, Bukalapak.com has launched a new payment method via Mandiri’s Clickpay in addition to its manual money transfer in its escrow service for buyers and sellers.
The Chief Executive Officer of Bukalapak.com, Achmad Zaky believes this new payment system can help to provide more secure transactions on Bukalapak.com. Majority of e-commerce transactions were paid with a bank-based money transfer, an escrow service is considered a safer choice for most consumers, Achmad added.
Besides, Bukalapak also released a new feature named Sistem Nego means bargaining system which enable the bargaining process between buyers and sellers into a more structured interaction rather than just dumping all the bargaining into the comments section of every product.
