July 8, 2014 (Tue): PayPal’s Braintree has formed partnership with Facebook in helping the FbStart program. Under the partnership, Braintree will bring Ignition to FbStart, waiving the fees on the first US$50,000 in processing for any U.S.-based startup that builds on Braintree’s platform.
FbStart is a program that provides mobile developers with free tools and services to grow their app. Braintree and Facebook hope the developers can leverage the program to successfully build an app, market their product and begin accepting payments.
