Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has announced the appointment of Suhaimi Ali as Assistant Governor effective 1 April 2022 and will responsible for the Financial Development and Innovation, Islamic Finance, as well as Financial Inclusion departments.
BNM has also announced the retirement of Assistant Governor Norzila Abdul Aziz on 1 April 2022. After her departure, the Assistant Governor Encik Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid will assume her portfolio comprising the Investment Operations and Financial Markets and Foreign Exchange Policy departments. Adnan will also oversee the Data Management and Statistics department.
