3 October 2024 – Black Duck® Software, Inc. has officially rebranded from the former Synopsys Software Integrity Group, marking its new status as an independent application security company. The new identity reflects the company’s flagship offering, Black Duck software composition analysis (SCA), a trusted solution that has enabled thousands of organizations globally to safely implement open source technology for nearly two decades.
Now operating independently, Black Duck continues to offer the full range of application security products that were previously part of the Synopsys portfolio.
