Thu, Jun 13, 2013: The Chief for Sibu branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (MDTCC), Balraj Singh urged the public must think carefully and should take precautionary measures when buying products online, the Borneo Post reported. He added that public should buy from trusted sources to avoid falling into online scams and frauds.
The report shared that recently a young guy has lodged a policy report claiming the courier package did not contain the tablet he ordered except for its accessories. Balraj said that there are five cases related to product purchases were taken up to the tribunal this year.
