Wed, Jul 3, 2013: A Bangladeshi hacker names himself as TiGER-M@Te hacked several well-known websites with the “.com.my” domain name on Monday. The hacker posted a message of “Hello Malaysia, you think you are more advanced than us? Respect our workers, we will respect you! Running it since 2007 ”.
The affected websites such as Google.com.my, Yahoo.com.my, YouTube.com.my, Skype.com.my and Bing.com.my have returned to normal as of today. However, Dell.com.my found still having the problem now.
According to a report by the Sun Daily, MYNIC Berhad will collaborate with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and CyberSecurity Malaysia to investigate the hacking incident on local websites that occurred on Monday.
